Ever since 2007, we have partnered with the National Special Olympic Committee<\/strong> of Cambodia to host athletic competitions at the National Olympic Stadium for intellectually challenged children and youth<\/strong>.

The young athletes come from the capital city<\/strong> and from rural provinces<\/strong> across the country.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

We organize the donation, delivery and distribution of free lunch, snacks and drinks <\/strong>for all participating children, care-givers and parents, thanks to the generosity<\/strong> of local sponsors and businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many, this simple moment, sitting together under the stadium bleachers to share a nutritious complimentary meal<\/strong>, has become just as meaningful as the competitions themselves.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

2016 marked a milestone year, as the games expanded to welcome teams not only from Cambodia but also from neighboring Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar.<\/strong> This regional spirit of unity and friendship continues to grow, showing how sport can build bridges <\/strong>across cultures and communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Each year, the success of the Special Olympic Games is a true tribute to teamwork<\/strong>, partnership<\/strong>, and community spirit<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many of the young athletes, who often lead marginalized<\/strong> and difficult lives<\/strong> due to their disabilities, this event is more than just a day of competition, it is a celebration of dignity, inclusion, and belonging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The chance to run, play, and compete in front of cheering spectators is life-changing<\/strong>. Each race won, each goal scored, and each medal received reminds them, and all of us, that ability shines brightest when given the opportunity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
